"A MATTER OF INTEGRITY" - DOUG ROKKE'S STORY OF INADEQUATE VETERANS CARE AND DU WEAPONRY COVERUPS
'YOU ARE GOING TO WAR"-- those words echoed through my mind, bringing back memories of my Vietnam experiences, as I sat down in my physics research laboratory at the University of Illinois after receiving a telephone call from the Lieutenant Colonel I worked for in the Army Reserve. I knew this would happen after Iraq invaded Kuwait during August 1990. I just did not know when my activation order would arrive. Anyway, on Thanksgiving Day 1990 I would be on my way to war again just as I did on Thanksgiving Day 1969. Twenty-one years to the day after going to Vietnam for the 2nd time, I was going back to war.
That was quite a contrast from my duties during Vietnam as a Bomb Navigation Hard-Hat on B-52's when my job was to ensure weapons systems were optimized to kill. Astonishingly I had deployed to South East Asia on Thanksgiving Day 1969 and then again for Gulf War 1 on Thanksgiving Day 1990. I was sent to Saudi Arabia as the theater health physicist assigned to the 12th Preventive Medicine (P.M.) Command professional staff. The 12th P.M. was in charge of all Preventive Medicine within the combat theater. Basically we were the public health department. I also was assigned to three special operations teams: Bauer's Raiders, the Depleted Uranium Assessment team, and the Captured Equipment team. Today, 15 years since the completion of 1, 1994 and 1999 combat actions in the Balkans, and with Gulf War 2 (Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom) ongoing, I am frustrated that the required medical care for "all" (combatants and noncombatants) casualties and environmental remediation of all contamination still is delayed or denied. Douglas Lind Rokke -- "A Matter of Integrity" - what an appropriate title for something by an extraordinarily accomplished showman and liar. Rokke misrepresents who he is and tells a misleading story based upon that. The DUStory Yahoo Group Files Section was created to post Rokke's actual military records that were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act using the Standard Form 180. Join the group and learn about the real Doug Rokke and how the real Doug Rokke is not the master showman who has been depicted here.
This is more accurate than previous representations, but he still claims to be disabled from DU and starts off with misleading you by saying that he was in his "Physics Research Laboratory" at the University of Illinois. He gives the impression that he was a physics researcher, when in fact he may have been something more akin to the stock clerk in a laboratory in food science. The vita he used in his PhD thesis is posted at DU Story along with parts of his thesis. I can not post the entire thing because Yahoo will not take a file that large.

Send us your vita and photo Roger, and let us know for whom you currently work, contractually or otherwise -- tell us your story, be open about it. Lot of folks say you're a fraud. You've got a lot to say about others, let's see who you are, in image and in word, so we can test the validity and the substance of what you say. Directly -- photocopies of military records and all. Rokke has these ... and they have been viewed and substantiated by credible journalists. No shell games, just the facts.
